The Grass Valley Canopus ADVC-55 can be used to connect your computer to the S-Video or the Composite Video output of the ultrasound system.

- Connect your computer to the video converter via the FireWire cable. If your computer has a Thunderbolt port, you must use a Thunderbolt-FireWire adapter.
- The lighting of the red LED indicates proper connection between computer and video converter.
- Connect the video converter to the ultrasound device via the S-Video cable or the composite video cable.
- The lighting of the green LED indicates proper connection between the ultrasound device and the video converter.

The video converter ADVC-55 has the DIP switches to set the video format:
- for PAL video format: set to ON the DIP Switch 1, set to OFF the DIP switch 2-6.
- for NTSC video format: set all DIP switches to OFF.
